What to Do When the Hubby's Away

I'm not going to lie I've been in a crummy mood the last week or so. Hence my reason for not blogging. But I've put my big girl panties on and trying to look at things in a more positive light. RC's away (booo!), but I've taken in upon myself to not mope around & have some fun!

So, what do when the hubby's away?

1. Order Chinese food one night

2. Go by Redbox and pick up some movies.
Bridesmaids and Jane Eyre were my selections. Really excited to see both!

3. Replenish your stash of reading material.
I just finished the Girl with the Dragon Tattoo series and loved them! Up next American Wife and The Glass Castle.

4. Get a haircut! :)

6. Go to a movie by yourself! This was a huge thing for me. I thought it would be all weird and I'd feel like a loser, but it totally wasn't! I actually really enjoyed myself. It was $1 popcorn and drink day so I went to a matinee showing of 'Whats Your Number?'. Really cute movie! And hello, Chris Evans! :) It was kind of nice just picking a movie and not having to worry if someone else would like it. So if there's a movie you really want to see don't wait around for someone else! I mean, it's not that weird to go to a movie by yourself... people go shopping by themselves all the time?

Anywho, I misses him and can't wait for him to get home! :)

Happy Wednesday, y'all!

1. I've been in the same kind of mood the last few days too! But I've done the same thing and my big girl panties are on now. 2. Both of those movies are so good! I redboxed Jane Eyre a couple of weeks ago and loved it! 3. You're going to LOVE American Wife! It is soooooo good! :) 4. I go to the movies by myself every once in while too. :)

I so needed this! My hubby just left today so I've been kind of mopey. I think I might finally go see a movie alone! :)

I went and saw Harry Potter by myself. I thought it would be weird, but once the movie started I didn't care :).

All three of those books were great...especially The Glass Castle!

Just exchange Chinese food for enchiladas and Redbox for Netflix and it sounds like we are having the same week!
